Warner Bros. Taps Trevor Cawood to Direct Thriller 'The Karma Coalition' (Exclusive)
Trevor Cawood is within discussions to direct The Karma Coalition, a thriller being created by Lin Pictures at Warner Bros. The move sets into motion a project that Warners acquired in 2008, throwing lower $750,000 against $1. 5 million for that spec by rocker-by-day/scribe-by-evening Shawn Christensen. The storyline centers on the professor who partcipates in a game title of cat and mouse having a corrupt detective after he's told his dead wife of 5 years may still enhance their lives. He reveals the presence of a secret organization accountable for faking her dying but suffers the effects of this understanding. Lin Pictures' Jon Silk and Mark Bauch are co-creating. Cawood, repped by WME and Anonymous Content, is really a Canadian helmer who's a co-owner the visual effects house the Embassy, that has done movies for example Cowboys &lifier Aliens and District 9. Cawood designed a reputation for themself together with his shorts and advertisements. One which caught Hollywood&rsquos eye was an arty and different film entitled Terminus and featured a guy haunted and then an inner representation, a stone figure. Among his advertisements really are a place for Clone Wars, featuring two droids in a skate park, along with a place for Citroen, having a vehicle changing right into a running robot. His jobs are marked for the actual way it uses real configurations and brings inanimate objects to existence. Karma is going to be Cawood&rsquos directorial debut. Jesse Ehrman and Andy Fischel is managing for that studio. Email: Borys.package@thr.com Twitter: @Borys_Package Related Subjects
